MIB Girls Basketball Coach Jeff Buffetta Reaches 600 Career Wins

Buffetta is the 14th girls coach in the state of Minnesota to reach the milestone.

MOUNTAIN IRON, Minn.- It was a night to celebrate for the Mountain Iron-Buhl girls basketball team on Wednesday.

Not only did they defeat Cass Lake-Bena 60-57, their coach also joined a prestigious club.

Jeff Buffetta earned career win number 600 in the contest. He’s the 14th girls coach in the state of Minnesota to reach the milestone.

Buffetta is in his 27th season overall and his 25th with the Rangers. He currently has an overall record of 600-160.

The team is next in action Thursday evening when they host Deer River.
