Klayton Knapp Earns NCHC Rookie of the Week Honors for 2nd Time in Three Weeks
Knapp had a saves percentage of 93 percent and averaged 35 saves per game against Denver.
DULUTH, Minn.- Another week and another NCHC Rookie of the Week honor for UMD goaltender Klayton Knapp.
It’s the 2nd time in the last three weeks that Knapp has taken home the accolade.
This past weekend, he had a saves percentage of 93 percent and averaged 35 saves per game against Denver. Knapp also picked up the win on Friday.
He and UMD will take this upcoming weekend off before returning to play on February 7th at Omaha.
