UMD Football Alum Heading to Super Bowl as Member of Eagles Coaching Staff

DULUTH, Minn.- A former UMD football standout and coach will make his first Super Bowl appearance with the Philadelphia Eagles.
Tyler Yelk is the quality control coach for the Eagles and joined the team in 2023.
Yelk played with the Bulldogs from 2005-to-2008, where he was an All-American defensive back.
After his playing career, Yelk joined the UMD coaching staff and was a part of the 2010 team that won the NCAA Division II title.
Yelk will make his Super Bowl debut on Sunday, February 9th.
