Hermantown High-Speed Pursuit Caught On Video

HERMANTOWN, Minn. — A high-speed pursuit took Hermantown police for quite the ride early Tuesday morning.

The chase started just after midnight after an officer spotted a suspicious vehicle behind the Goodwill store on Miller Trunk Highway.

When the officer initiated a discussion, the driver took off.

The chase went on for 11 miles until a pit maneuver was used on the get-away vehicle at 25th Avenue West and West 2nd Street in Duluth.

Police said the driver took off on foot, but he was arrested by 12:30 a.m.

Nobody was injured.

The driver is facing multiple felony charges, including driving on a revoked license and fleeing police.
