UW-Superior Softball Picked to Finish 1st in UMAC Coaches Poll

UWS obtained five first-place votes and 46 points total in the poll.

SUPERIOR, Wis.- The UMAC coaches poll was released earlier this week.

Coming in at number one is the UW-Superior Yellowjackets, who claimed the conference tournament title a year ago.

UWS obtained five first-place votes and 46 points total in the poll. Which was two ahead of Northwestern in 2nd place.

The Yellowjackets return a trio of veteran talent that includes MyKenzie Leccia, Ellie Macal, and Zoe Thomson.

The team will open up their season a week from Friday against Macalester.
