Lt. Governor Smith’s Made in Minnesota Tour Stops in Duluth

The tour highlighted the success of small businesses and job creation.

Minnesota’s Lt. Governor Tina Smith’s Made in Minnesota tour brought her across the state and into Duluth.

Smith toured businesses that make products here in the state and stopped by Vikre Distillery in Canal Park.

Smith pointed towards the success of small business as an example of how good paying jobs can be created.

“Small businesses are the source of so much innovation and how we can do it better thinking. You can see that right here at this distillery and that then fuels the next round of business creation and job growth in the state,” said Smith.

Smith expressed her support for Hilary Clinton’s 100 day jobs plan which she said could potentially bring over 178,000 jobs to the state.
