UMD Defenseman Ty Hanson Named NCHC Rookie of the Week

The Bulldog D-man had three points and four blocks in UMD's win and tie against Arizona State this past weekend.

DULUTH, Minn.- Hermantown native Ty Hanson is the NCHC Rookie of the Week.

The Bulldog D-man had three points and four blocks in UMD’s win and tie against Arizona State this past weekend.

He also was tied for the most points among all NCHC defenseman.

This is Hanson’s first conference honor and the team’s fifth rookie of the week selection.

UMD will travel to play the University of North Dakota on Friday.
