Section 7A Hockey: C-E-C, Proctor, & Hermantown All Secure Spots in Semifinals

Both the Section 7AA & 7AA semifinals take place on Saturday at Amsoil Arena.

CLOQUET, Minn.- The Section 7A boys hockey tournament began on Tuesday night.

Top seeded Cloquet-Esko-Carlton began their tourney run by handling Moose Lake Area 9 to 0.

The Lumberjacks will next meet up with Proctor, who held off International Falls 4 to 3 in overtime.

That contest takes place on Saturday at Amsoil Arena at 6:05 PM.

Towards the bottom of the bracket, Hermantown began their title defense with a 16 to 0 rout over Greenway.

The Hawks will take on a Hibbing/Chisholm Bluejacket squad that topped North Shore 11-0 in their quarterfinal game.

The two teams will be the nightcap on Saturday at 8:05 PM at Amsoil Arena.
