CSS Basketball Splits with Bethel in Regular Season Home Finale

Both teams will next be in action on Saturday at Augsburg.

DULUTH, Minn.- Both the St. Scholastica men’s and women’s basketball teams held their final home games of the regular season on Wednesday night.

In the first game of the night, the Saints women fell short to Bethel, 74 to 34.

The Royals were led by Hermantown native Elly Schmitz, who had 20 points.

Following that contest, the Saints men battled back to earn a 91 to 81 victory over the Royals.

Jacquez Overstreet had 19 points in the win.

Both teams will next be in action on Saturday at Augsburg.
