Jane Eckstrom Wins Herb Brooks Award, Mirage Finish Year as Consolation Champions

Eckstrom is the 3rd winner in program history.

PROCTOR, Minn.- It was a successful weekend for the Proctor/Hermantown Mirage as they ended their season on a high note and one of their senior leaders earned a prestigious award.

The Mirage took down Marshall 2 to 1 on Saturday to claim the Class A consolation title.

Then just one day later, senior forward Jane Eckstrom was named the 2025 recipient of the Herb Brooks Award.

The award is given to the player who represents the values and traits of Herb Brooks.

Eckstrom is also the 3rd winner in program history.

She and the Mirage finish the 2024-2025 season with an overall record of 22-7-1.
