UWS Women’s Hoops Claims Share of UMAC Regular Season Title, Earns #1 Seed in UMAC Tourney

The Yellowjackets host Martin Luther in the UMAC semifinals on Wednesday.

SUPERIOR, Wis.- The UWS women’s basketball team wrapped up the top seed in the upcoming UMAC tournament this weekend.

With the Yellowjackets win over Minnesota Morris on Saturday, UWS clinched a share of the conference regular season title with Northwestern. And due to the tiebreaker process, Superior will enter postseason play as the top seed.

They’re next in action on Wednesday against a Martin Luther squad that they split with in the regular season.

Tip-off is at 7 PM.
