Sunny Weather Enthusiasts Finally Thawing Off

DULUTH, Minn.– With the temps finally soaring well above zero, people wasted no time getting outside to take it all in.

One family was actually visiting Duluth while taking a tour of UMD, and they were taking full advantage of the sunshine.

They said the air today is a lot easier to face than wind chill 40 below.

“It’s a little windy. But the temperatures are really nice and so it just feels nice to finally get some fresh air. You feel like you’ve been cooped up for so long that this feels great,” said Kristin Lanners, who was visiting from Sartell Minnesota.

“It just helps you get out and move and get a little exercise, instead of you know when it’s cold you tend to stay inside and sit on the couch,” continued Lanners.

Today specifically has been the warmest day Duluth has seen in over a month.
