Hibbing/Chisholm Wins Section 7A Title, Advances to State for First Time Since 2011

DULUTH, Minn.- The Hibbing/Chisholm and Cloquet-Esko-Carlton boys hockey teams battled for the Section 7A title on Wednesday night.

In an instant classic, the Bluejackets ended up knocking off the Lumberjacks 4 to 3 in overtime.

Whitaker Rewertz had the game-winning goal to send Hibbing/Chisholm to their first state tournament since 2011.

The Bluejackets will learn who their first round opponent at state will be over the weekend.
