Spring Career Fair at UW-Superior

SUPERIOR, Wis. — The University of Wisconsin – Superior held its annual Spring Career Fair today.

Attendees had the opportunity to explore careers, network with potential employers, and get professional headshots.

They also welcome students from all of the local colleges as well as alumni and community members.

Seventy-five employers were there including many regional health care providers and law enforcement agencies.

“So of course, I think it’s easy to see the connections that happen here, but for students, there’s also the opportunity to explore whether that’s different major opportunities, or seeing what employers connect with different majors, or there could be an industry that they never even thought about, but it could be their dream career path as well.” said Liza Shelquist, the career development manager at UW-Superior.

The next career fair will be next October, with registration opening up over the summer.

Employers hoping to join future fairs can contact the UWS careers office to be added to their mailing list.
