Duluth Airshow Officials Make a Special Announcement

Blue Angels Returning to Duluth

The Duluth Airshow has been taking place since the 1930’s and today it was announced that for the first time ever the Blue Angels will be back to perform for a second year in a row.

The Blue Angels will return on June third and fourth of 2017.

This will mark the first time that the airshow has ever gone back to back years.

The Blue Angels liked the Duluth area so much that they actually called the airshow asking them if they could come back to perform yet again.

Roger Reinert, the Director of Public Relations for the Duluth Airshow, said “It highlights the strong aviation industry we have.”

The U.S. Navy has also designated the entire week leading up to the airshow as Navy Week.

Tickets for next years airshow will be on sale starting tomorrow.
