#10 UWS Men’s Hockey Defends Home Ice in Game One of WIAC Playoffs

The leading scorer for the Yellowjackets was Collin Pederson, who recorded a hat trick in the contest. 

SUPERIOR, Wis.- The UW-Superior men’s hockey team earned the top seed in the WIAC playoff tournament and hosted UW-River Falls on Friday.

After the Falcons scored first in the 2nd, the Yellowjackets broke through with four straight goals as they defeated the Falcons 4 to 1.

The leading scorer for the Yellowjackets was Collin Pederson, who recorded a hat trick in the contest.

UWS is back in action on Saturday, March 1st, for game two of their series with UW-River Falls.
