A Wireless to Host Backpack Giveaway

Locations in Duluth, Superior, and Cloquet will give away 125 backpacks for kids at each location.

With school starting up again pretty soon, a local company is helping kids get read for the big day.

A Wireless will be giving away 125 backpacks at each of their locations in Duluth, Superior, and Cloquet.

The backpacks will be filled with supplies like notebooks and pencil boxes.

“We’re not even going to be pitching products when we do this. We’re simply giving this stuff away, no obligation. You don’t even have to have Verizon or anything like that. We just want to reach out to people. It’s going to be amazing to see kid’s smiles,” said Bobby Rindahl, A Wireless Store Manager.

The giveaway is from noon to 3 p.m. on Saturday in the MIX 108 parking lot which is across from A Wireless.

Children need to be present with an adult to get a backpack.

Members of the Fox 21 news team will help give out backpacks at the 102 Central Entrance location.
