UWS Track & Field Well Represented in UMAC Honors, Ortiz Named Rookie of the Year

UWS just won their 9th conference title in program history.

SUPERIOR, Wis.- A whopping 10 UWS track and field standouts were honored by the conference.

One of the notables includes Jesse Ortiz, who was named the UMAC Rookie of the Year.

Ortiz just ran the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.08 seconds. He also finished with a time of 22.43 in the 200 meter dash and had a long jump of 6.43 meters.
