Accused Stalker Arrested Again While on Pre-Trial Release

PROCTOR, Minn. – A man was granted pre-trial release after submitting guilty pleas in two cases; but “within two hours” of leaving custody, the victim said his attempts to contact her continued.

Over the last eight months, multiple criminal cases have been filed against Rocky Allen Wrazidlo Jr., 27, of Proctor, for charges including harassment, first-degree burglary, and false imprisonment. Wrazidlo is also accused of four separate violations of a “Domestic Abuse No Contact Order” (DANCO) during that same period. According to court records, he now faces felony stalking charges, and all of the alleged offenses involved the same victim.

On Feb. 19, Wrazidlo submitted guilty pleas in two of his cases. In one case, Wrazidlo allegedly broke into the victim’s home on Sep. 25, 2024, and prevented her from leaving or calling 911. Court records showed a DANCO was in place at the time of the incident.

Wrazidlo’s second plea is related to a harassment case. According to court records, Wrazidlo was taken into custody for the previous case on Oct. 2, but continued to reach out to the victim while incarcerated. An officer who reviewed Wrazidlo’s jail call records “documented 104 calls from Wrazidlo to” the victim.

After submitting the pleas, Wrazidlo was granted pre-trial release on Feb. 20. A police report stated that the victim and her family left the state for next week to avoid Wrazidlo.

Proctor Police met with the victim on Mar. 2, where she showed them text messages from Wrazidlo the day he was released, according to police reports. The victim also provided fake social media profiles that Wrazidlo allegedly used to contact her when she would block him.

A text message from Wrazidlo that is quoted in the police report said, “Don’t report me I have years hanging over my head.” The officer noted several instances where the victim told Wrazidlo to leave her alone.

Wrazidlo was arrested and charged with stalking on Mar. 5.
