Cromwell-Wright Girls Basketball Claims Section 7A Title For First Time Since 2020

Thursday's contest was the 4th straight year the Cardinals and the Rangers played in the section title game.

HIBBING, Minn.- For the fourth straight year, the Cromwell-Wright and Mountain Iron-Buhl girls basketball teams met up in the Section 7A title game.

Unlike the previous three, the Cardinals were able to get the best of the Rangers this time around, claiming the title 62 to 58.

Cromwell-Wright last made the state tournament during the 2019-2020 season.

They’ll learn who their first round opponent is over the weekend.
