UMD Women’s Hockey Erupts for Six Goals in 1st Round Rout Over Sacred Heart
The Bulldogs will next face Cornell on Saturday in the regional final. Puck drop is at 3 PM.
ITHACA, N.Y.- The UMD women’s hockey team made their 16th national tournament appearance in program history on Thursday.
And the Bulldogs celebrated in style as they erupted for a program record six goals in the 1st round, defeating Sacred Heart 6 to 1.
UMD was led by Danielle Burgen and Olivia Mobley, who each had two goals in the win.
The Bulldogs will next face Cornell on Saturday in the regional final. Puck drop is at 3 PM.
