Many Gather for the Third Annual Empowerment Expo

Over 60 Vendors attended the expo

The third annual Empowerment Expo was at the Superior Mariner Mall today.

Twin Ports area people with disabilities, friends and community members came together once again for Expo 2016.

The popular annual event is free and open to the public.

It featured food, face painting, exhibits by local artisans, businesses and community organizations.

There was also free lunch and light refreshments.

John Nousaing, the Director of North Country, said “Sooner or later you will encounter disabilities in your family life whether that’s you or loved ones so it’s a place to celebrate and learn about the resources available and have some fun.”

Nousaing plans to have the event again next year.
