State Boys Basketball: Cherry Holds Off Nevis to Advance to Class A Championship Game

The Tigers will next face Dawson-Boyd in the title game on Saturday at 11 AM.

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn.- The Cherry boys basketball team met up with Nevis for the 2nd straight year in the Class A semifinals on Friday.

And for the 2nd time in a row, the Cherry Tigers were able to get the best of the Nevis Tigers, winning 79 to 70.

Cherry was led by Carson Brown, who had 22 points in the contest.

The Tigers will next face Dawson-Boyd in the title game on Saturday at 11 AM.
