St. Louis County Offers Drop Off Sites For Storm Debris
Servicing Those Affected in Rural Areas
Still picking up after last week’s severe storms, St. Louis County has now opened drop off sites for storm debris.
Residents are encouraged to discard tree and plant damage only…no stumps or construction materials are accepted.
“We felt that it’s something we can offer – there have been some demands – with all the blow down, this is our response,” said Mark Hudson with St. Louis County Public Works Department.
One of the sites is located at 6230 Arnold Road in Gnesen Township, approximately one half mile north of Emerson Road.
The other is the Taft Pit at 6350 Munger Shaw Road in Grand Lake Township, approximately one half mile north of the Lost Lake Road (County Road 974) and the CN Railroad Crossing.
The drop off sites are open from eight in the morning until 5:30 p-m, even on the weekends.
They’ll remain open until August 7.
