Lake Avenue Restaurant Offering Unique Lent Specials
DULUTH, Minn.– With lent in full swing, many customers are seeking out “fin-tastic” specials local restaurants are offering.
Lake Avenue Restaurant in Duluth, is pursuing a non-traditional route with fish specials.
For lent, the focus is moving away from fried fish, and honing in on fresh red snapper, and salmon.
The menus change twice a year and are always looking to bring out new dishes.
One of the co-owners is happy to offer customers a fine dining option during lent.
“I think people are always looking for something new when it comes to a holiday or a special occasion. And I think especially in Duluth you want to try something new. You want to try something different. You want to have something special. I think going out to eat right now is expensive. Groceries are expensive. And we recognize that at Lake Avenue. We’re really honored when people do come in,” said Derek Snyder, Co-owner and General Manager for Lake Avenue Restaurant.
“I feel like this is a great time of year where I feel like, especially northern Minnesota can become kind of a meat and potatoes heavy region. And so, it’s exciting for me because we get to bring in fresh fish a different fish and play around with that stuff a little more,” added Lars Benson, Executive Chef for Lake Avenue Restaurant.
Lake Avenue Restaurant is open seven days a week, and they recommend booking your reservation in advance.
