Wisconsin-Superior’s Maya Callaway named UMAC Women’s Tennis Player of the Year
Callaway is the first UWS athlete to be named UMAC Women's Tennis Player of the Year.
SUPERIOR, Wis. – After a stellar spring season, Wisconsin-Superior’s Maya Callaway was named UMAC Women’s Tennis Player of the Year.
Callaway went 9-4 at the No. 1 singles spot, while posting a 5-0 UMAC record. Callaway played with a few different partners at the No. 1 doubles spot, but posted a 9-5 overall record and 5-1 UMAC mark.
Callaway is the first UWS athlete to be named UMAC Women’s Tennis Player of the Year.
Callaway and Emily Wald received All-UMAC honors from UWS, while St. Scholastica’s Maddy Jankila and Julia Maier were also named All-UMAC.
