Bass Pro Shop Hold Hiring Event This Week

DULUTH, Minn. — A well-known American sporting goods retailer is looking for new hires in the Twin Ports for their newest store opening in Hermantown.

Bass Pro Shop is looking to hire over 150 people for both full and part-time positions.

At the Holiday Center on Wednesday and Thursday, they are offering on-site interviews and job offers for those interested.

According to the company, they’re looking for people who have a passion for the outdoors.

Positions range from cashiers to management, firearms specialist, fishing sale outfitters, and many more.

“”When it comes to the outdoors, there really is no Mecca like the Duluth area. The whole North Shore, whether it be the Lake Superior fishing side of it, the rivers, the lakes,” said general manager Joe Thompson. “As you go north, as a long time resident of the area, over the years, though, I left and now coming back, it’s truly an area that the outdoors matters.”

The hiring event takes place at the Holiday Inn and Suites in Duluth. It will run from 9 am to 7pm Wednesday and Thursday this week. If you can’t make it to the event you can still apply online.
