Peaceful Protest Draws Hundreds

Many gathered at Duluth's City Hall to fight against racial inequality.

Hundreds joined in a peaceful protest in the Twin Ports at the city halls of Duluth and Superior.

The Justice City Coalition organized the event and called for racial inequalities to end.

Speakers took time to remember the lives lost in recent weeks and months, both African American men and the five Dallas Police officers who were killed.

“We need to come together as one united to treat everyone with respect, integrity and dignity,” said one rally speaker.

Many of Duluth’s city leaders were at the protest.
