UMD Men’s Basketball Coach Justin Wieck Inks Four-Year Contract Extension

DULUTH, Minn.- UMD men’s basketball head coach Justin Wieck is staying put.

On Monday, the college announced that they and Wieck have agreed to a four-year contract extension.

Since taking over in 2018, Wieck has a record of 142-58, which includes three NCAA tournament berths and four tournament wins.

He’s also coached three all-americans, two NSIC players of the year, one NSIC defensive player of the year, and lastly one conference freshman of the year.
