Classic Cars Take Duluth Back in Time

Sidewalk Days Festival Gets Underway

Superior Street took Duluthians back in time Wednesday night.

Classic cars lined downtown as part of the Sidewalk Days Festival.

The 9th Annual Car Show and Harley Revue was sponsored by Verizon this year and is a popular attraction for many motor enthusiasts throughout the Northland.

“There’s great people. Duluth is a great town. I absolutely love it and they put on a great show here,” said classic car owner Steve Stupak.

Stupak owns a 1955 Nomad.

Stupak says there is a lot of camaraderie in the car world, “We learn a lot from looking at each others cars, seeing what everybody’s doing differently and just enjoying the old vintage cars.”

Sidewalk Days will wrap up on Saturday.
