Live Chicks at Fleet Farm!

HERMANTOWN, Minn — You can pick up chicks at Fleet Farm…

…as long as those ‘chicks’ you’re hoping to pick up are baby chickens.

Live chicks are delivered every Thursday and available for sale at 11am.

A ticket system was started because they’ve been selling within the first hour.

You can show up early, grab a number and see what breeds are for sale.

The breeds change out weekly depending on what’s been hatching.

“A lot of customers have already thought about getting chicks, and now that they are more local and all of these supplies is here, it has become a little more convenient with the uncertainty of what’s going on, they can guarantee that they’re going to have eggs and chickens in their backyard.” said Jaime Miller, the Operations Manager at Fleet Farm

There is no hard limit on how many chicks you can buy but they do request you consider others who also want chicks.

Special orders are available but the breeds available are limited.

They also have all the feed, supplies, and even beginner kits available.
