Car Crashes Into Taco Bell After Brake Failure

DULUTH, Minn. — On Thursday afternoon, a car lost control on a busy down-hill road in Duluth, crashing into a Taco Bell.

It happened around 1:30 p.m. at the corner of 21st Avenue East and London Road.

The vehicle was heading down 21st Ave. East when the brakes failed, sending it through a tree and into the Taco Bell.

Thankfully no pedestrians were around at the time, and the part of the building the car slammed into was far away from customers.

The building was evacuated and the restaurant closed.

The driver was cited for a brakes violation and not having insurance.
