One Arrested After Armed Home Invasion Near Oliver
OLIVER, Wis. – One person is in custody after an armed home invasion took place near Oliver Sunday.
The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office says they responded to the home on Highway 105 near the village. They activated their Special Response Team to investigate while deputies and the Wisconsin State Patrol contained the area.
The sheriff’s office says a suspect was located and apprehended. They believe this was an isolated incident with no additional threat to the public.
No one was injured, but the sheriff’s office thanks the Town of Superior Volunteer Fire Department and Mayo Ambulance for being on scene standing by.
