Little Waldo Farms “Finds” its Niche With Gardening

TWO HARBORS, Minn. — Little Waldo Farms out in Two Harbors has seriously “found” their niche when it comes to growing plants.

The farm got its start around three years ago, when it started out as a simple hobby.

Since then, the garden has now bloomed into a full blown business.  They plant everything from veggies, flowers, and even honey.

The owner of the farm also saw an opportunity for education and community involvement. Being able to connect with other up and starting farms is something she does not take for granted.

“What I’ve come to learn is that people are so willing to share their knowledge, and them sharing with me. It seems like any time I hold one of these sessions, I’m gaining just as much as I might be giving out, if not more,” said Jadell Cavallin, the owner of Little Waldo Farms. “I’m really grateful for the circle we have around this region even. There’s so many great small farms around here and certainly so many people interested in gardening.”

Stay tuned for when we go more in depth about the Little Waldo Farm in a future knowing your neighbor segment.
