Egg-Splosion Event Held in Lincoln Park
DULUTH, Minn. — With Easter right around the corner, the 10th annual Egg-Splosion event was held in Lincoln Park.
Northern Expressions Arts Collective hosted Egg-Splosion at the Harrison Community Center on Saturday.
The Easter event welcomed community members to have fun with games and crafts.
With the rising price of eggs, this year the event was budget friendly as wooden and plastic eggs were decorated instead.
The free event allows for kids and families to have fun at no cost.
“One of the things we try is to make it accessible for everyone, so it’s a free event that we go ahead and put on each year that allows for families regardless of their circumstances to be able to come and participate in a way that is fun for people from 2 to 102” Patrick Weber, Artistic Director at Northern Expressions Arts Collective said.
Northern Expressions Arts Collective aims to connect families together through artistic play.
The organization will also be hosting Community Connect summer camps across different neighborhoods in Duluth this year.
