Harbor Monsters Add Two New Offensive Coordinators, Re-Sign QB Johnson

The Harbor Monsters first preseason game is on Saturday, May 24th against the Knoxville Bandits.

DULUTH, Minn.- After suspending and then parting ways with Kevin Gregory, the Duluth Harbor Monsters have named two offensive coordinators for this upcoming season.

Dominick Hobdy is set to serve as the lead offensive coordinator and Dan Renfroe will serve under him as an offensive coordinator.

Hobdy has played professionally indoors for the last 13 seasons.

As for Renfroe, he’s been on both the North Shore Grizzlies and the Lake Superior Rage coaching staffs.

Renfroe and Hobdy will have the opportunity to work with quarterback Ja’Vonte Johnson next season.

The team announced over the weekend that Johnson is returning for a second season with the Harbor Monsters.

Last season, he played in all the games recording 2,034 passing yards and 34 passing touchdowns, which led the Arena League.
