UMD’s Sam Pitz and Aiden Williams Sign NFL Undrafted Free Agent Contracts

Both Pitz and Williams were team captains for UMD in 2024. 

DULUTH, Minn.- Two UMD standouts might not have heard their name called during the draft, but their dream of making it to the NFL becomes a reality.

UMD tight end Sam Pitz and offensive lineman Aiden Williams signed undrafted free agent contracts on Saturday after the draft.

Both Bulldogs are heading to the AFC North.

Pitz signed with the Baltimore Ravens and Williams signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The duo joins Brent Laing as Bulldogs to sign an undrafted free agent contract in the past three seasons.

Both Pitz and Williams were team captains for UMD in 2024.
