Amber Sadowski Seeks Re-election to Duluth School Board

Sadowski Photo 2025DULUTH, Minn. — Amber Sadowski is running for a second term on the Duluth School Board At-Large, highlighting her leadership background and focus on youth development.

With a background in teaching and 10 years in the nonprofit sector, Sadowski is focused on initiatives that help every child succeed. “I’m motivated to continue supporting our students and ensuring fiscal stability for our schools,” she said.

In her first term, Sadowski served as Clerk of the Board and Chair of the Human Resources & Business Services Committee, earning the Minnesota School Board Association’s Leadership Development Award.

As a parent of two children in Duluth Public Schools, she’s committed to student-centered decision-making and strengthening the district. Sadowski also believes in fostering community partnerships to benefit both schools and the local economy.

“Working with and for youth is my passion and has been the focus of my entire career. I am seeking reelection because I am excited and motivated to keep working on initiatives that support all kids reaching their fullest potential–no matter their background. Now more than ever, we need leaders that our community and students can count on, leaders that are knowledgeable, experienced, and who center their work and decisions around what is best for students while ensuring fiscal stability,” said Sadowski.

She and her family live in Duluth’s Woodland neighborhood.
