Rosie Loeffler-Kemp Seeks Re-Election to Duluth School Board

DULUTH, Minn. — Rosie Loeffler-Kemp has announced her bid for re-election to the Duluth School Board in District 1.

Highlighting over 30 years of community involvement and nonprofit leadership, she emphasized her commitment to strong public schools and collaborative leadership.

“It is an honor and privilege to serve on the Duluth School Board. I will continue to build on our strengths, carry out our community driven Strategic Plan, and expand on our community partnerships to ensure every student in Duluth achieves a high-quality education. And l will continue to work collaboratively with my School Board colleagues and our dedicated staff to provide a safe and inclusive environment for all our students and staff to learn and work,” Loeffler-Kemp said in a prepared statement.

Loeffler-Kemp, a longtime resident of Duluth’s Lakeside neighborhood and parent of four Duluth Public Schools graduates, currently serves as the Board’s Policy Committee Chair and was recently named a 2025 All-State School Board member by the Minnesota School Board Association.

Loeffler-Kemp, a first generation college student, has a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Minnesota Duluth.

“I will continue to work to carry out our Duluth Public Schools’ mission to inspire every student with learning opportunities for growth, creativity and curiosity. I believe strong public schools build strong communities and that drives my passion to continue to serve all our children,” Loeffler-Kemp said.
