Both Superior City FC Men’s & Women’s Teams Earn Home Opener Victories

The Superior City FC men's and women's teams held their home opener on Saturday. 

SUPERIOR, Wis.- The Superior City FC men’s and women’s teams held their home opener on Saturday.

The women’s team took on Karen FA in their home opener.

The Beacons defeated Karen FA 11 to 1.

Leading the way for Superior City was Anna Tobias, who had five goals.

The Beacons are back in action on Sunday, May 18th, against Tonika Fusion Elite.

Game time is at 6 p.m.

For the men’s squad, they faced Rochester FC for their home opener.

The Navy defeated Rochester FC 3 to 0.

Leading the way for the Navy were Will Francis, Cam Ross, and Ryan Tomsche, who all scored a goal in the contest.

The Navy is back in action on Wednesday, May 14th, against the 1826 Academy.

Game time is at 6:30 p.m.
