CSS Hammer Thrower Ella Stritesky Qualifies for NCAA Outdoor Championships

Stritesky recently finished as the runner-up in the hammer throw in the MIAC championships.

DULUTH, Minn.- St. Scholastica hammer thrower Ella Stritesky will get the chance to compete for a national title later this week.

Stritesky qualified for the NCAA D3 Outdoor Track and Field Championships after tallying a throw of 52.45 meters.

She recently finished as the runner-up in the hammer throw in the MIAC championships.

The nationals begin on May 22nd and go through the 24th in Geneva, Ohio.
