UWS Named Hilda Nuutinen as First Head Coach of Women’s Lacrosse Team

The Yellowjackets debut season for the women's lacrosse team is in the 2026-27 academic year.

SUPERIOR, Wis.- The UWS women’s lacrosse team has found the program’s first head coach.

The team announced on Thursday that Hilda Nuutinen will lead the Yellowjackets in their first season.

Before UWS, Nuutinen was the co-head coach for Hudson high school.

The Yellowjackets debut season for the women’s lacrosse team is in the 2026-27 academic year.

The Yellowjackets will play in the WIAC conference.
