Former Bulldog Noah Cates Signs Four-Year Contract Extension with Flyers

Cates played for UMD from 2018-2022, where he won a NCAA title his freshman year.

PHILADELPHIA, Penn.- A former Bulldog is re-upping with his NHL current team.

On Tuesday, the Philadelphia Flyers and forward Noah Cates agreed to a four-year contract extension worth four million dollars annually.

In his fourth season in Philly, Cates tallied 37 points, 16 of which were goals and 21 were assists.

It was almost a career year for him as he previously had 38 in the 2022-2023 season.

Cates played for UMD from 2018-2022, where he won a NCAA title his freshman year.
