Defenseman Derek Forbort has re-signed with the Vancouver Canucks on a one-year, two million dollar contract.

He appeared in 54 games last season for the team, posting 11 points.

Forbort has also played for Los Angeles, Calgary, Winnipeg, and Boston during his career.
