Marsolek & Haugen Named Finalists for Mr. Baseball Award

The winner of the award will be announced on June 15th.

DULUTH, Minn.- Two local players have found themselves up for the top honor for prep baseball in Minnesota.

Duluth Marshall’s Owen Marsolek joins Esko’s Sam Haugen as two of the eight finalists for the award.

Once his state tournament run is done, Marsolek is heading to Western Kentucky.

As for Haugen, he’ll be joining his brother Cale at Minnesota State-Mankato.

The winner of the award will be announced on June 15th.
