Superior Lidgerwood Mundy Breaks ground on New Facility

SUPERIOR, Wis. — Superior Lidgerwood Mundy broke ground at the location of their new facility today.

The new facility was prompted by the Blatnik Bridge replacement project which required them to move out of the way.

SLM manufactures a variety of products from winches to kitchen equipment.

While being forced to move did seem inconvenient, the improvements the new facility will bring makes it worth it.

“We have a lot of older buildings, and there’s 11 of them, and so we’re going to move from being in a situation where we have older buildings that have all these maintenance issues and all these to being able to move into a facility that has everybody under one roof so the employee experience will be improved, and I’m very excited about that, so we can have a much more robust sense of community by all being together.” said Kent Phillips, President of Superior Lidgerwood Mundy Corporation.

The new facility will be 68,000 square feet.

They are operating under a tight deadline to be done March 2026.
