Lane Closures on Bong Bridge This Week for Inspection Work

DULUTH, MN / SUPERIOR, WI — Drivers traveling between Duluth and Superior should plan for lane closures on the Bong Bridge through Thursday as crews conduct routine inspections.

From 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily, inspection crews will be working on the bridge, prompting temporary lane closures.

On Wednesday only, the southbound I-35 ramp to eastbound US 2 will also close from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Drivers can detour using Exit 252, then loop back via Central Avenue and northbound I-35.
