Coffee Conversation: Make Music Day Returns to Superior with New Energy

Superior, WI – Get ready to turn up the volume! Make Music Day returns to Superior this weekend on June 21, bringing a fresh wave of local energy and global spirit.

This year’s celebration is led by new event director Traxx Nelson-Kavajecz, who aims to make the event louder and livelier than ever. Traxx and his sister, rokkyn, are members of the local band Born Too Late and appeared on the morning newscast Tuesday to help spread the word.

The duo also performed their original song, Rebel Child.

Part of a worldwide celebration, Make Music Day invites musicians of all ages, skill levels, and genres to perform in public spaces—creating spontaneous, inclusive performances that transform the city into one big stage.
