‘The Hockey Moms Revenge’ filming scenes in Duluth
DULUTH, Minn. — New lifetime movie, ‘The Hockey Moms Revenge’, is being filmed locally.
The movie is about two hockey moms who just want to see their son succeed.
It comes to head at a big championship, and one mom has to win.
“This is, of course, an exaggeration for the most part of you know, really, just parents who care. That’s what it comes down to, like character depth wise, is they just really care, and they really want to see their kids succeed. And I think a lot of parents can relate to that.” said Clara Davies, Writer and Production Manager of ‘The Hockey Moms Revenge’.
Davies wrote the script to be filmed in Minnesota.
She moved to Duluth to work in the film industry locally.
Previously working on Merry Kiss Cam and other local films as her career grew.
Thats not unusual either, as the industry gains momentum locally, more industry careers are becoming available.
“The movie community is about to grow, and we’re training new employees. We’re giving people opportunities to try new positions and get into different departments that people are interested in, and it’s just, it’s an incredible field to work in.” said Destiny Collins, Locations Manager.
The Hockey Moms Revenge is still in production.
It’s roughly estimated to be out sometime around the end of this year or early next year.
