Runner’s Carb Load at Michalina’s Spaghetti Dinner

DULUTH, Minn. — The annual Michelina’s Spaghetti Dinner kicked off at 11 this morning.

Kitchen Staff and Volunteers have been working hard to prepare the feast.

The all-you-can-eat event lets athletes’ carb up before the races.

Even if you aren’t running, anyone can buy a ticket to the dinner and support the Grandmas Marathon.

“Come on down and enjoy a plate of spaghetti. You can see in the background behind me that we’re geared to serve it up to you. So, it’s a wonderful, you know, home cooked plate of spaghetti here, in mass quantity, but we do it, you know, with love.” said John Hartwick, Member on the Board of Directors for Grandma’s Marathon.

All proceeds go towards the Grandma’s Marathon.

The dinner goes until 9pm in the Lake Superior Ballroom at the DECC.
